Fairy in the forest / Shop update

A new wonderful fairy painting...love my new original painting, so much to look at.

This fairy is like a light in the shadow, that light that remember us the way we should go, the wonderful light that everyone have inside :)

New fabric brooches with vintage fabrics and laces, from my collection. when you go out with a brooch like tjis you feel happy and make others smile. These brooches are inspired by flower mandalas. Flower Mandalas represent protection of home and work and personal growth.

The flowers lift our soul, our senses open to the creativity, beauty and love.

One more agenda 2012 and she is ready to go to your hands :)

Antique books turn into boxes

Transform old Books is something very inspiring to me, wonderful and hard covers can be lots of things :) I am always thinking what to creat next, what has the potential to be modified and become another interesting thing. So a visit to a bookstore Lisbon, which had a corner with old books gave me the excuse to try to transform them. I decided to make boxes,  besides they keep things (and some of them important and special) are decorative objects that I love.

They are decorated with vintage fabrics, ribbons and laces and an art print

Transformar livros antigos é inspirador, capas interessantes e rigidas que podem ser um monte de coisas :)

Estou sempre a pensar no que tem potencial para ser modificado e transformar-se, noutra coisa interessante.

 Uma visita a uma livraria no centro de lisboa, que tinha um cantinho com livros antigos deu-me a desculpa para eu experimentar transformá-los. Decidi fazer caixas, porque além de guardarem coisas (e algumas delas importantes e especiais) são objectos de decoração que eu adoro.

I  love my New Brooches, they are made with my collection of Vintage fabrics, laces and ribons and an image printed in vinyl. When i was creating them I was thinking in Mandalas, like a flower Mandala that you can wear.

Weekend without kids ;)

My weekend was without Kids....I was needing of this time :) I have spent my time in Alentejo in the coast...so beautiful, so quiet, so full of energy.


I think all parents should have 2 in 2 months a time to breathe, talk, reconnect, without children...I love my children, but is so healthy take a time without the constant ,"mom...I want....mom... I need"

Wonderful and precious time.
What do you think to take some time for you? great idea right? start to organize a weekend just for you, you deserve it !

O meu fim de semana foi sem miúdos .... eu estava mesmo a  precisar deste tempo para mim :) passei o meu tempo  na costa Alentejana ... tão bonito, tão calmo, tão cheio de energia.

Acho que todos os pais deveriam ter, 2 em 2 meses, um tempo para respirar, falar, voltar a ligar-se a conectar, sem filhos ... Eu amo os meus filhos, mas é tão saudável ter um tempo sem a constante, "mãe ... eu quero ... mãe eu preciso "

Um tempo maravilhoso e precioso. 
O que  achas de tirar algum tempo para ti ?  óptima idéia, certo? começa a organizar um fim de semana só para ti, tu mereces!
 
Eu estive na Casa dos moinhos em Odeceixe, e adorei e recomendo!
