Paint your muse- in person class in Italy /Como

This March I will teach again in Italy, in the city of Como ( that is amazing) and I am really excited to teach this new class - Paint your muse! 

Paint your muse is a class to get in touch with your intuition and unique guidance and put it in a canvas, exploring different mixed media techniques and painting your own unique muse.

Mindy Lacefield is a mixed media artist who draws inspiration from the nostalgia and rainy days of her childhood. Creating from the heart of a 7 year old, Mindy cherishes the tactile process of painting. As the layers and colors evolve, decisions are made in the process of making mistakes that fosters growth. Surrendering to the outcome of moment. Mistakes are applauded and accidents cherished. It is only through the finished work, allows her to be one with the process. Through surrendering, the most beautiful thing about this creative journey. Stillness is achieved and a new awakening of hearing the voice of God has been. Mindy is a full time artist living in central Arkansas with her husband and two poodles, Merlin and Sammy. She teaches around the country and online.

Flow and paint - mixed media art class in Italy

Today I am sharing some pics of my Flow and Paint class in Italy. 

I have made this class in partnership with Simona Anghileri and Color and crafts shop and I am telling you they were the perfect partners for me :) 

The class was in 21 March in the first day of spring, I have started with a circle on the floor where we have made some breathing work and meditation to set the tone for this Flow and paint class.

Simona had brilliant ideas to start working with this group of 18 wonderful woman - they made the background using fresh flowers and vegetables to create wonderful textures into those canvas, so much fun!!!!

The perfect idea to put the class flowing :)

What a pleasure to work with a person like Simona, we were in perfect sync :) love you girl!

After the background we started to discover and feel what that canvas and shades of painting want to try to say to each of us, and so a new phase of the painting started and beautiful things emerged :)

All the girls have made a terrific job, even they were beginners they have completed all steps with a smile on their faces, exploring, discovering, feeling ....woman that opened doors to creativity.

Flow and Paint art class -teaching in person in Italy / Milano

                 

I am starting this year inviting the adventure into my life, maybe you wanna join me in this "in person" class Flow and Paint, that is going to happen in Italy near Milano.

In this class we will connect with our soul, embrace our intuition and express ourselves through painting and mixed media techniques.

Handmade Christmas ornaments- to fill you with joy ;)

Oh yes, they are in my shop ready to fly to your homes ;) 

These are adorable birds, one of a kind Christmas ornaments to feel your home with joy and a lot of smiles :)

                    

To make this ornaments I have used clay, spools, feathers and sparkly things.

                   

I think they look adorable on the christmas tree, on the kids / babys beds or to add to your collection of handmade ornaments or maybe to give a special gift ;)

Hi everyone!  I have fresh news to share with you!  I'm part of the teaching team of Muse Merriment - a wonderful collaborative course organised by Kelly Hoernig. This online class is inspired by the 9 Greek Muses! Each teacher will have an inspirational muse and mine is Polyhymnia, muse of sacred poetry, where I am going to share a mixed media project - an art doll, the one you see in the photo :)  I am so happy with her, can´t wait to share it with you!!!! About the course Kelly says: "The inspiration for wanting to create an e-course around the 9 Muses came when I was reading "The War of Art" by Steven Pressfield. When he mentioned that they were sisters with the sole purpose to inspire artists, I set out to find more information. In doing this research I discovered that each sister had their own way to inspire. My favorite line and the one I really want to focus on for this e-course came from "The Muses in Greek Mythology." It reads, "the Muses supported and encouraged creation, enhancing imagination and inspiration of the artist." I find that line and the fact that they wanted to dedicate their entire lives to this very powerful and moving. I am thrilled to be joined by these creative artful women who are muses of their own doing. Meet the teachers ▪ Tamara Laporte, Danita, Deb Hill, Lisa Lavoie, Rachelle Panagarry, Effy Wild, Susana Tavarres, Golda Rader and Kris Binsfeld. Each teacher will be introducing themselves and their muse plus how she inspired them to create their project. The project lesson and coordinating PDF.
