Fairy inspired

Every Wednesdays I go for a walk in nature. From this walk I bring magic dust, bliss and grace home.

Is a time of recharging batteries in the middle of the week, a time of presence and gratitude. Observing the beauty of nature, walking over the amazing carpets of leaves, so perfect at this time of the year.

In the park I have a tree friend, I believe they all are my friends, but this one is what I call an allie. I greet her and ask if I can receive its energy. Then I feel her answer and I put my back in her trunk, receiving what she as to give me, that is pure bliss and love from nature.

Why painting portraits, a conversation with my higher self 💗

After so many years, I am painting different subjects than portraits and I was wondering why. Today I had a wonderful conversation with my higher self and I want to share it with you, specially if you are an artist and you love to paint portraits.

Being creative, it always have been part of who I am. I believe all of us are creators, bringing inside creative gifts that we can express in the most different ways. The creative process is a way for us to connect with our Soul and bring forth this amazing energy, that represents who we really are. The expression of your essence!

Trough life it's easy to forget who we are in essence. Playing, creating and making things we love, gives us clues and information about our precious beings.
For sure you already know we came to this planet to evolve, but we also came, to discover and to remember. This leads me to portraits and the conversation I had with my higher self & my Angels. So, they told me the reason why, I had this fixation on painting portraits over and over again, for so many years. 

I see there are many artists doing the same thing, of always finding a way to paint a portrait, it feels like an obsession. But it´s not that!
So let me tell you what I found, when you are paining portraits in fact you are painting yourself, you are painting parts of yourself always.
And why?
Because you are remembering who you really are, you are remembering your essence, you are painting over and over until you get there, to that soul connection. You are searching, because you know there´s more, and it´s your exercise to bring to surface, that parts of you. A quest to find yourself and understand your core. Like a spiritual journey, through color, shapes and symbols. 

Most of the times we aren't even noticing what this dance with creativity is trying to tell us. But every single piece is a conversation with your soul, your emotions, your struggles, your skills and gifts. And bit by bit, you are uncovering parts of you that have been hidden for a long time.

If you are painting portraits, continue to do so, so you are making a real conversation with your soul and each one is trying to tell you something. This creative journey is an undeniable treasure, so you can listen your inner voices and remembering who you came to be. You are finding yourself!

Maybe you can pay attention to your feelings or ideas or even ask the painting, which message it has for you. Maybe it's a word or a page full of insights, but for sure it's your job to find yourself and have fun with it.

In fact I think we are continuously making Soul portraits of ourselves.

Painting butterflies

Continuing my demand, on creating butterflies during the month of March.

This is the Butterfly number 3.

In the first 2 butterflies, my inner-child wanted to play and be relaxed about it and sometimes, you just need to start, in a simple way and with what you have in the moment and that's o.k, to make some changes on the way.

When you start walking your path, more awareness will be presented  to you. 

You'll receive inspiration more in tune of what you want and what your purpose is.

 This is what spreading your wings is all about. 

Setting an intention + starting + clarifying what you want = awareness + potential 

Compassion and love in a transformation process, are the most precious tools you can use. 

Allowing yourself to flow in a easy way, step by step and make the changes you need.

  I started this project to stay focused on my intention.

" To spread my wings and embrace my gifts with purpose"

Doesn't matter what you do, but finding an excuse to grow and expand through focusing on your goals.

You can write, paint, say affirmations, run, doodle, make list of things you are grateful for.

Just listen where your heart wants to go, and give it some time everyday.

"Listen to the wind in her soul...let it take you where your heart wants to go"

For sure something will happen, for sure something good and in the end you will be beautiful and

 happy that you do it and your wings will be ready and you will fly!

I believe it's a fairy! - watercolor painting

I have a deep connection with our beautiful planet and nature.

In my new home, it's such a privilege to see the greenery around me.

Every morning I bless the day and say hello to the trees, 

the plants and the elementals and I thank them for all the work they do and I ask them,

to bring pure positive energy, fun and creativity into my day.

 

I believe this words of simply saying thank you, makes all the difference.

You start your day in a intentional day, you are saying what you want in your day and acknowledging 

the beauty and power of this planet.

It always served me to appreciate the world around me, a beautiful circle of giving and receiving.

My message to you this Christmas 

"Dear one it's time to reflect your light into this world, you are a son of God, made from pure love and light. Please know that you are a carrier of the light of your creator and you have the power to be in touch with your essence. Bright, shine, pure, soft, amazing and magnificent. At this time is so important to remember this truth.

Allow yourself to be in touch with the light  within and live your purpose fully in presence. Trusting that every steps of the away, you are being helped and supported, but you need to make things easier to yourself and others. 

What an amazing thing to leave at peace!

Follow a path of kindness, softness, giving your hands to source, remember each day to let us to lead the way. Follow your intuition and your heart, breath deeply, see the best in everyone and focus your attention on the beauty around you and be grateful for what you already have.

May the Christic light fill you with hope and peace, may you remember who you really are, may you live the wonderful life you came to live.

Co-creating - studio scenes

My studio lately is more than a place to paint, it has became a place to connect.

I remember a few months ago, I have written that I want to create in partnership with source and it's exactly what is happening. A beautiful team, working and connecting together, to bring the best to the ones that connect with me and my art.

It's been such a privilege to develop this soul work, with Angels, fairies and the wisdom of source, planet Earth and Crystals. 

Surrendering to the process knowing that a bigger plan as been made, and trust that only higher wisdom comes through and always working intentionally for the highest good of all. 

And it feels so good to not have to pretend that I am not me. Embracing who I really am!

One of the things that I have the opportunity to experience, is the beauty of each soul.  All of them are major important and with a beauty beyond my expectations. Several times I am in tears painting and feeling the beautiful energy of the soul I am painting. So much potencial, love and light, so much that I can not even put into words.

Spirit animal paintings - the Hawk is the one you see on the pictures. 

Animals and nature have so much to offer and teach us, children and adults. 

Spirit animals are one of my favorites, to work with.

The art path + Autumn owl altar

 

 

 

 

I have been remembering why I started to create. So many things have changed in this 12 years, that I felt the need to go back and ask me why?

The answer that popped into my mind was, creating for me brings me fun moments, makes me feel good. The place where I feel the real me, a way to express my inner world, in a way that words couldn't. To feed my needs of exploration and be with myself. Having fun and providing well being.

 

When I started to make a living of my creativity, all that I have, was lots of hope and dreams and the capacity of not giving up. I worked like I never did before, I felt passionate and also held down to prove people, that I could do it and my art was valid. 

This art path made me go beyond my limits and fears. But I did it! Now I can see how brave I have been all this time. 

Not just the art biz, but in understanding myself as a woman, a wife, a mom...

 

 

 

After all this years of ups and downs, laughing and crying. I know each step of the way was valid, in learning and gaining experience. I can see now, how much I have pushed myself ( toooooo much).

Now I know that is o.k to rest, to feel good, to not do, to feel what I need... and it took so long to have this clarity. Sometimes, I Still feel insecure, but now I can tell myself "It's ok dear, everything is working out for you"

 

 I love the spiritual me. Honoring source and planet Earth, on my art is something very valuable. My new spirit animal Autumn altars, are a combination of this journey, where I recognize myself in the elements. The why's of the beginning of my journey and the things I want to celebrate walking this path.

My first dragon ✨

Until last week I never had any interest in Dragons, but a friend of mine shared a picture from Diana Cooper, saying something like " ask your child's dragon to protect it" and that sticks to my mind. In that day the dragons came to me several times.

And because I like to follow my intuition I discover from Diana Cooper ( wich I love her work with the Angels) , that Dragons are guardians of planet Earth and they bring wisdom, love and protection. 

Fantasy or not, after meditation, I receive the message to paint a child with a dragon in her head and there she is.

Keeping your creative spirit alive

  

Owl spirit

Close your eyes for a moment and feel your creative spirit. 

For me, my creative spirit feels like a fresh wave moving inside and around me, a connection between my feet (the earth) and the very top of me, my connection with source ( God).

Our creative spirit lives inside of ourselves, always ready to take a step forward when you are in a ease state of mind, relaxed and allowing.

Your creative spirit creates paintings, collages, beautiful songs and poems but your creative spirit create as well the world you live in. When I speak about creation I have to include everything in my / your world, because you are the creator of your own reality. 

So how to keep your creative spirit alive?

First of all he never dies or goes to some place else, it's always there waiting for you to be receptive to its calls, ideas and inspirations. Don't you think this is wonderful, to know that is always there waiting. Waiting for you to be happy and joyful and relaxed and o.k were you stand in this present moment. 

What is your job?

To feel really good! Ah ah is exactly this, To feel good, to make everything possible to feel good and you know why? Because feeling good is what you really are, is when you are connected with your joy, your positive state of being and that allows good ideas and inspirations to come.

Off course, I am not saying that you can not have bad days, that is normal and o.k and when you have them, just embrace yourself in this knowing that's part of life and your growing into it.

There is so much around us in this world, that is easy to not be happy and overwhelmed. That's why I am writing this post, to remembering you that you can choose! Yes you can choose! What you see, what you hear, what you talk, what feeds your world! What is it? What feeds your world?

Are you hearing the news all the time, worrying about all the bad things happening, and complaining all the time that things are not as you like them to be.... Well this will not get you far... 

Dear you, if you have the power to choose, why not choosing what you want?

Do you want feel bad... No! So choose something that feels good!

Do you want to feel worried...No! So choose something that feels happy!

Do you want to feel down...No! So choose something to feel up!

Do you want to feel ugly.... No! So choose something that feel beautiful!

You get the point, choose what makes you feel good, start with simple things and focus your attention the most time you can in pleasant things or activities you love, like- pet the dog, go for a walk, observe the birds flying, smell the flowers and be inspired by their colors, see an inspiring video, paint, sing a song you love. 

Practice, practice, practice.... Like painting and drawing you need to practice to be in this ease, positive state of mind. Doing this you are making a statement to the universe, and a powerful one. 

"Universe I love to be happy, to feel good and inspired, please bring me more!"

And when you do your part, the universe / source / God will bring you more and more.

I believe we are here to be happy and to live a beautiful creative life, because we have the creative force inside of us, is always flowing, we just have to practice well being, practice joy and happiness. And when you do this, you are lighter.... and a light to this world, shining your beautiful being, a gift to planet Earth and an inspiration to the ones around you.

Last adventures on watercolor

In the last days while experimenting with watercolor, something magical happened. I painted the piece above and felt I was expressing myself aligned with who I really am. My heart was so happy and all the process was so delicious and so honest and true.

I think a new style may have born, let's see ;)

For now I am sticking with this new me and is really refreshing. Totally combining with my new adventure in moving to Brussels. All of this big changes feel so right, that I am just going with the flow, trusting!

Be the light - painting process

                   

Are you ready to take your journal and paint for a while?

I hope so because I have this creative process to share with you ;)

                 

Step 1 - spread some watercolor in several tones in your journal 

If you don´t have watercolors you can use acrylic paint mixed with a bit of water

Step 2 - make a collage with some vintage and painted papers 

               

Step 3 - with a pallet knife spread some white paint or gesso on top of the watercolor to seal them.

Step 4 - grab a charcoal pencil and make some doodles and marks on your page, it's fun and gives texture

               

Step 5 - stamp - I have used several stamps, a butterfly , a plant and the striped pattern above. Use your intuition and follow ;)

Step 6 - one more layer, using the faber castell pitt pens. I have doodle with the pens , defining some areas and put some water on top to dissolve the ink. 

               

Step 7 - acrylic paint in flesh tone to start the face and a turquoise inside the round shape. You can even spread the same colors here and there on your backgroung, to give a sense of balance to the painting.

               

Step 8- time to paint the face, I used watercolors in tones of blue, green, orange and white acrylic paint to shade her and give her some hair (black watercolor)

Step 9 - define the eyes and her features with a black pitt pen

               

Step 10- I found that sweet bird flying on the background ;) painted with an orange acrylic paint and for the wings 2 different pinks with oil pastel.

Step 11- make a yellow aura around her with oil pastel

Step 12- finish with some geometric shapes and flowers (made with my black pencil) and choose some beautiful words to your painting
