Bliss :)

I know, today I look like my mom lol. But I couldn't resist in showing you my flowers. This is my first garden and I am totally in love with it. It really feels so good to have so much beauty to look around, so many good smells and the birds singing and visiting my home, the butterflies flying around, for me is heaven :) 

Such a difference between my appartment in Lisbon, this connection with nature brings me joy and more energy, it really uplifts me. So grateful!

Hidrangeas in purple( I just google it and now I know their name ah, ah ) 

Tiny strawberries, so lovely :)

 More hidrangeas in white and I have them in pink as well.

And the grass field with tiny daisies.

 Pooh and Bolota are delighted with the plays outside, barking to other dogs, the naps on the grass. A lot of fun I am telling you ;)

So I am slowly getting into my art again.

Life changes

It's been a while since I made a blog post and I hope everything is going well with you :)

In these days I am honoring the simplicity of being and integrate this new life change, I am going to make, with my move to Brussels.

We are in the moment searching for our new home, organizing stuff, some to let go ( new life , new stuff, I believe ;) and some to go. While we are trying to figure it out all of this, one day at a time, I have adopted a new Pomerania puppy. Yehhheeiiii!!!! My inner child was asking and Pooh is now our new friend. He is such a joy and Bolota and him are already friends and the kids ohhhhh, they love Pooh so much. He really bring pure positive energy into our home and lots of smiles and laughs :)

Blu.B - sportswear for children

I am here today to present you Blu.B, oh yes!!!

Blu.B is the first 100% portuguese brand of sportswear for kids from 2 to 10 years old and I am making a partnership with them with my art and illustrations :)

I absolutely love the result of this team work. Sportswear kids Love to use, cozy, soft with a fun, different look, my kids are in love with them and in school everyone wants one ;)

The brand is inspired by Bees and it's symbology of soul, immortality, loyalty, cooperation and love.

So we have played with words , has you can see in the sweater " My happy dog" you can read "Bee Happy" embracing the brand and the posititive words and messages we believe the kids should grow with.

Kids now can be sporty and fashion at the same time. The top "Little Fairy" is a great example to get this cool look ;)

Autumn kids activity for the weekend :)

Yesterday I had a wonderful afternoon with my children, Fall has arrived to Lisbon already and we want to celebrate this new season and connect with mother nature.

I want to share with you this simple family activity, that can be very nurturing and happy!

Before leaving home, gathers a few simple materials:

- notebook or album 

- pen or pencil 

- washi tapes

- book with the types of leaves and trees (optional)

- cookies and water (this is not an option ;)

We put everything on a backpack and go walking to a beautiful garden near our house,

 Gulbenkian, a great place to visit because of the gardens but also for art exhibitions, music concerts and more.

The activity is to find on the ground different leaves, one from each tree, just one.

They have to stay focus and find the treasures on the ground and follow the clues that autumn leaves.

We found lots of them :)

Pick a place to see what you´ve got and take out your materials.

If you have your book with the different types of leaves, let the kids compare the images with the real leaves. We have talked about the colors, the shapes and found the names of trees that each one corresponded.

Time for washi tape fun :)

Display the leaves in your album or notebook and add them with a bit of washi tape, it looks beautiful right and the kids love to do this.

After write the name of each leaf.

In the end let the kids make some drawings in the page, and then time for coooookies!!!!

Healthy breakfast allergies free

Today I want to share with you my breakfast, since I have notice, that in several times of the year I was very allergic and when I switch to my healthy breakfast, I felt a lot better. And the best is that I notice this improvements of my allergies in the next day. Great right! that's why I want to share this with you :)

So my non healthy breakfast was milk ( lactose free) and coffee and bread.

My healthy breakfast ingredients are :

- milk ( lactose free) + a piece of fruit or veggies +a table spoon of biological granola ( antioxidant )+ a tea spoon of honey + cinnamon 

                  

The ingredients go to a blender, and I make a delicious, nutritive milkshake to start my day with energy, without allergies.

Collage and paint my favorite!

Hi beautiful people, how are you? I hope you are great :)

Here in my studio I am working on new mini Frida paintings, with lot´s of collage and sweetness.

When I think what I really, really love to do, is this- grab some papers, fabrics, ribons and start matching them in a canvas and then paint and details, this really makes me happy.

Leaving you with a sweet pic of my daughter and Lua (moon) my cat. 

She is really a different cat, she never goes to our lap, even when she wants petting, she goes behind our heads and rubs in our hair, she always have to do the things her way.

But she adorable anyway.

Magic from nature

Experimenting with watercolor

Hi everyone this is what I have been doing lately, since I have “moved in” to a house with a garden and a swimming pool where the kids can run, connect with nature and breath fresh air since our home in Lisbon has been really hot, hot , hot (yeppp! just like a sauna)  :P

Olá a todos isto é o que tenho feito ultimamente, desde que mudei  temporariamente para uma casa com jardim, piscina onde as crianças podem correr, conectar com a natureza e respirar ar fresco, enquanto a nossa casa de lisboa está quente, quente, quente (sim mesmo como uma sauna) :P

Trying to figure it out what I want to do until Bolota swim on the lake 

 This means I will not have so much time to be around here. But  I was really needing  this,  a chance to look inside and make some decisions about the course I want to take with myself and my business. I hope the right ideas come through and help me make the right choices.

Isto quer dizer que não vou estar tanto tempo por aqui, no entanto estava mesmo a precisar deste tempo para poder olhar para dentro e tomar algumas decisões sobre mim e o meu negócio e que curso as coisas vão tomar. Espero que as ideias certas venham até mim e me ajudem a seguir o caminho certo.

Yes we have a new member in the family, a Labrador's puppy. He´s name is "Bolota" in english it means "oak nut", but it sounds great and sweet in Portuguese. Tell me, isn´t he 

A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!

Of course it seems like I have a new baby in the house with lots of pees and poos, but he has a great temperament, it's calm, playful and very sociable.
