This Art Doll is Mentha she was inspired in Mentha tea /Mentha leafs. I have put lot´s of details in her skirt like images of mentha plant, words, leaf stamps, water efects, beautiful fabrics.

She was Sold.

Vamos construir um livro do pincipio ao fim, capas e folhas e celebrar as coisas importantes da vida, TU!!!!Se acreditas como eu, que arte é diversão, inspiração e cura este workshop é para ti :)

I am going to give a workshop in Lisbon, it call´s "Celebrate Life"- we are going to make a book like this on the pictures, lot´s of mixed media fun, inspiration and healing :)

O que vamos explorar?

-técnicas mistas (mistura de papel e tecido, pastel, acrilicos, ecolines, impressão e colagem)

-afirmações / escrita / listas

-costura criativa

Cada página vai ter um tema a explorar fora e dentro de nós. Alguns temas: Celebra o Amor, grata por..., diverte-te :) , Eu digo sim !.... e outras :)

Este workshop terá 4 aulas de 3 horas cada nos dias 17, 18, ~~24,25 de Fevereiro~~, vai passar para 2 e 3 de Março são 2 sextas e 2 sábados em Lisboa (perto da Gulbenkian).

Sextas- 18h- 21h

Sábados- 16h-19h

Preço - 80€ e inclui um kit com imagens para colagem e papeis diversos e uma impressão da minha arte para fazeres este album lindo e inspirador :)

It´s a beautiful day in Lisbon/ Portugal, it´s cold but with a beautiful sun, and I am wearing a yellow sweater to celebrate and shine with the sun :)

Great days in my world have to be celebrated with beautiful paintings, great colours and meaning.

My "Butterfly wings" meaning is, we can transform our world with sweetness and love, and have, a beautiful butterfly wings ourself, spreading good vibes and magic powders, all around us and in us ;)

Hi everyone, just to let you know that everything is o.k from this side. I am in this mood, like my cat, beeing still, connecting with the inside world reading, learning, planning a lot with my coaching course.

It´s been a wonderful trip in knowing and understanding myself and others thrue love.

Olá a todos, só para confirmar que está tudo bem deste lado. Eu estou neste estado de espírito, como a minha gata, mais quieta e silenciosa, em conexão com o mundo do interior, a ler , a aprender, a planear muito, com meu curso de coaching.

Tem sido uma viagem maravilhosa de conhecimento e compreensão de mim mesmo e dos outros através do amor.

Workshop "Girls just wanna have fun!"

Queres aprender a desenhar , pintar e decorar meninas, princesas e fadas de forma simples e divertida? Então este workshop "Girls just wanna have fun!" é para ti :) - põe a musica a tocar em baixo ;)

Vamos explorar técnicas mistas ( mistura de diversos materiais) , especialmente apartir da colagem de vários tipos de papel e tecido, tinta acrilica, pastel, lápis de cera de aguarela e carimbos, neste workshop recebes também um kit com diversas imagens e papel para poderes usar.

Na 1ª aula- explorar o desenho de caras de meninas e pintura das mesmas com tinta acrilica e pastel

Na 2ª aula- vamos fazer uma princesa e vamos explorar a colagem (muita diversão)

Na 3ª aula- vamos fazer uma fada na capa da tua agenda para 2012 ou caderno de notas (tu escolhes) com uma mensagem especial :)

Vais sair deste workshop inspirada e com a tua criatividade aos saltos e a celebrares a tua feminilidade de uma forma unica... a tua!

Antique books turn into boxes

Transform old Books is something very inspiring to me, wonderful and hard covers can be lots of things :) I am always thinking what to creat next, what has the potential to be modified and become another interesting thing. So a visit to a bookstore Lisbon, which had a corner with old books gave me the excuse to try to transform them. I decided to make boxes, besides they keep things (and some of them important and special) are decorative objects that I love.

They are decorated with vintage fabrics, ribbons and laces and an art print

Transformar livros antigos é inspirador, capas interessantes e rigidas que podem ser um monte de coisas :)

Estou sempre a pensar no que tem potencial para ser modificado e transformar-se, noutra coisa interessante.

Uma visita a uma livraria no centro de lisboa, que tinha um cantinho com livros antigos deu-me a desculpa para eu experimentar transformá-los. Decidi fazer caixas, porque além de guardarem coisas (e algumas delas importantes e especiais) são objectos de decoração que eu adoro.

Weekend without kids ;)

My weekend was without Kids....I was needing of this time :) I have spent my time in Alentejo in the coast...so beautiful, so quiet, so full of energy.

I think all parents should have 2 in 2 months a time to breathe, talk, reconnect, without children...I love my children, but is so healthy take a time without the constant ,"mom...I want....mom... I need"

Wonderful and precious time.
What do you think to take some time for you? great idea right? start to organize a weekend just for you, you deserve it !

I was here in Casa dos moinhos, love everything :)

O meu fim de semana foi sem miúdos .... eu estava mesmo a precisar deste tempo para mim :) passei o meu tempo na costa Alentejana ... tão bonito, tão calmo, tão cheio de energia.

Acho que todos os pais deveriam ter, 2 em 2 meses, um tempo para respirar, falar, voltar a ligar-se a conectar, sem filhos ... Eu amo os meus filhos, mas é tão saudável ter um tempo sem a constante, "mãe ... eu quero ... mãe eu preciso "

Family Shrine Tuturial and celebrate the best you have in life!

Hello everyone!

Today I am going to share an inspiration that came from the art terapist Fran Riley a shrine Tuturial :)

My Shrine is celebrating Family union, family helth, family Love and family wings, those that represent the wonderful energy that all elements from a family have together, and they can fly!)

Olá a todos!

Hoje vou partilhar convosco uma inspiração, que veio da terapeuta pela arte Fran Riley um tuturial que ensina a fazer um santuário :)

O meu santuário é um sitio de celebração da familia. O amor de familia, a união da familia, a saude familiar, e as asas da familia, estas que representam, a energia maravilhosa de cada elemento da familia em conjunto, e podem voar bem alto estas asas!

What are you going to need for this project:

- cardstock ( you can use a cereal box)

- images for the background ( I used 2 )

-an A4 print from the template above

-pictures from your family (I use black and white pict.)

-glue, scissors, pencil

-scraptbook paper or fabric (for the cloth)

-embellishments

O que você vai precisar para este projeto:

- Cartolina (você pode usar uma caixa de cereal)

- Imagens para o fundo (eu usei 2)

-uma impressão A4 do molde acima

-retratos de sua família (eu usei fotog. a preto e branco.)

-cola, tesoura, lápis

-papel de scraptbook ou tecido (para a roupa)

-enfeites

1st step - trace your shrine mold in cardstock and cut it

1º passo - desenha o molde do teu santuário na cartolina e corta-o

step 2 -for the background , choose your images and trace it with the mold and cut it

I use a mandala for the center and one of my patterns to make the sides

Passo 2 - para o fundo, escolhe as tuas imagens, desenha-as apartir do molde e corta-as

Eu usei uma mandala para o centro e um dos meus padrões para os lados

step 3 - paste all parts

Passo 3 - cola todas as partes

Step 4 - scktech a cloth for everyone with your scraptbook paper or other paper you like and cut it

(tip: put your photo below and the paper on top to get an idea of the size and shape to draw)

Passo 4 - desenha uma roupa para todos com o teu papel de scraptbook ou outro que gostes e corta

(dica : coloca a tua fotografia em baixo e o papel em cima para teres uma ideia do tamanho e forma a desenhar)

don´t forget to include your pet

não te esqueças de incluir o teu animal de estimação

Step 5- puts everything in place and glue it

Tip: heads first and then glue the clothes

Passo 5- coloca tudo nos seus lugares e cola

dica : primeiro cola as cabeças e depois a roupa

To finish my shrine i have put some meaningful words to me "Celebrate!... remember you are gifted"

I have put my family wings, so we can fly together :)

and some embellishments like a star, a fabric button, and gold sequins for girls heads , and finish

the edges with pastel crayons

(tip: you can use a bit of paint and apply to edges with your finger)

Para terminar o meu santuário /altar colei algumas palavras com significado para mim

umas asas de borboleta , para que possamos voar juntos :)

e alguns enfeites como uma estrela, um botão em tecido e lantejolas douradas para o cabelo das meninas e acabei as extermidades com pastel de oleo para dar profundidade

( dica: podes usar um pouco de tinta e aplicar com o dedo a toda a volta)

Wokshops in Spain :)

I have arrived from my workshop adventure with Casa Bambola Creativa, in Madrid and it was great all the time spending toguether, with Ellen, Sandra and Ronda (scraptbooking artist) and all the wonderful women/ students, that receive me with lot´s of love :)

I arrived to Lisbon with lot´s of good energie and lot´s of hopes and dreams !

Cheguei da minha aventura artistica com a Casa Bambola Creativa, em Madrid e foi fantástico o tempo que passei junto da Ellen, da Sandra e de outra artista de Scraptbooking Ronda e claro com todas as mulheres fantásticas que me receberam com muito amor e que aprenderam comigo com todo o carinho :)

Por isso cheguei a Lisboa cheia de boa energia, com muitas esperanças e sonhos!

Trust in the process of life! - mixed media art

I have started this week a new journey, I am taking a course....yehhheeiiii!!!!

It Calls "Wisdom Coaching" with Vera Leal in Lisboa...and I am very happy with myself to give this step further. I hope this period of 9 monthes can power everything good in me ... and that every day can be better and easier

Changes are always good, sometimes gives a shiver down the spine (there's the fear) but we have to be brave and take steps forward and believe

Believe in you and in your potential, which is huge!

Why don´t you think today, what can I change? and says softly to the fear that thanks, but you're going ahead and everything will be fine :) and it will be!

Começei uma nova viagem /etapa na minha vida, começei um curso esta semana, vivaaa!!!!

"Wisdom Coaching" com a Vera Leal em Lisboa, e estou muito feliz comigo por ter ado este passo em frente.

Espero que este periodo de 9 meses, possa potenciar tudo de bom que existe em mim...e que todos os dias possam ser cada vez melhores e mais fáceis

As mudanças são sempre boas, ás vezes dá um arrepio na espinha ( lá vem o medo) mas temos que ser fortes e dar passos em frente e acreditar!

Acreditar em ti e no teu potencial, que é enorme!!!!

Porque não pensas hoje, o que podsso mudar? e diz baixinho ao medo que agradeçes, mas que vais em frente e tudo vai correr bem :) e vai!

If you love cats like me I have this wonderful news , my notebook with the theme "Girls and Cats" featuring some of my art work. This notebook that you can preview (up) was made in Blurb and I have made my order to sell them in my shop....but if you don´t want to wait longer you can buy your copy in Blurb bookstore ;)

My notebook has 80 pages and 14 images from "girls and cats" art, like paintings, illustrations and art dolls.

Size- 15 x 21 cm (like an A5)
I Love to use notebooks, so I use them all the time, to sketch something special, to write down my thoughts, to do lists, creating collages, take inspirational quotes.... I hope you get yours!!!!

I think trees give a wonderful sense of confort and hapiness! Transformei-as e decidi fazer amigos :) ou seja, a menina e o seu amigo gato ( claro, eu e os gatos...) e a menina e o seu amigo guaxinim. Ultimamente ando com muita vontade de desenhar guaxinins acho-os muito divertidos com a máscara nos olhos e as riscas pretas, adoráveis!!!!!

The animals I painted them with acrylic paint and the girls had the right to a dress that is a love :)

Take a sneak peek into my studio ...

At home we are in a wave of change, in the last week settled the DIY at home, a complete change in the kids rooms (I promise to take pictures later) and maybe the livingroom will also get a refresh.
Actually I also want to change my studio to a larger space I want to start to paint more in big canvas and for that I have to arrange some room to express myself ... who knows if out there appears a opportunites:)

Lá em casa estamos numa onda de mudança, nas ultimas semanas o bricolage instalou-se lá em casa, numa mudança total no quarto das crianças, ( eu prometo tirar fotografias mais tarde) e quem sabe a sala também vai levar um refresh.

Na realidade também tenho vontade de mudar o meu atelier para um espaço maior, quero começar, a pintar mais, telas grandes e para isso tenho de ter espaço para me exprimir certo...quem sabe se aparece por aí uma oprotunidade :)

There is special place, only I know

I arrived from my holidays truly inspired by Louise Hay's book. It was really what I was needing to get my ideas straigth and complete my Intentions Workbook (grab yours here).

To clarify what I really want in my life, thinking with my heart.

There is nobody who is going to make this journey by myself ... just me, so I decided that my options are to make me happy, complete and fulfilled, with love, energy, abundance, harmony, creativity and what ever good may come.

Louise Hay suggests to visualize a place of healing. I already had my own place, but I decided to improve it and I started to imagine the landscape, flowers, waterfall, trees, colors .... when suddenly appeares a unicorn to to join me :D
I was delighted! Since childhood I have a passion for horses, but a magic and white unicorn could not be better.

Eu vim realmente inspirada pelo livro da Louise Hay era mesmo do que eu estava a precisar para arrumar as minhas ideias e completar o meu livrinho das intensões (imprime o teu aqui).
Clarificar o que eu realmente quero na minha vida, a pensar com o coração.
Não há ninguém que vá fazer este percurso por mim...só eu, por isso decidi que as minhas opções passam por fazer-me feliz, completa e cheia, cheia de amor, energia, abundância, harmonia, creatividade e o que de bom estiver para vir.
Louise Hay faz uma sugestão de visualizar-mos um sitio de cura, eu já tinha o meu sitio, mas decidi melhorá-lo e começei a imaginar a paisagem, as flores, a cascata, as árvores...as cores e de repente aparece-me um unicórnio a fazer-me companhia : D eu fiquei deliciada! Desde pequena que tenho uma paixão por cavalos, mas um unicórnio mágico e branquinho não poderia ser melhor.

Universal wisdom oracle cards

A part of me is no longer in Lisbon ...

I'm almost on vacations, it's already this weekend. It seems that my body is already preparing itself, as it is becoming more and more difficult to think clearly and doing whatever. I'm getting slower and I need to be able to focus again. I need to breathe deeply and feel that peace, I only feel when I´m by the sea ... so that I may sort out and clarify what I'm going to do next. Seting up intentions, positive and filled with love. Intentions that truly connect me with the person I am.

Uma parte de mim já não está em lisboa...

estou quase de férias, e é já no final desta semana, parece que o meu corpo já se está a preparar pois estou a ficar com dificuldades em pensar e em fazer seja o que fôr estou a ficar lenta e a precisar de me centrar outra vez. Preciso de respirar profundamente e de sentir aquela paz que eu só sinto quando estou perto do mar... e tentar arrumar e clarificar o que vou fazer a seguir e estabelecer intenções, positivas e cheias de amor que conectem verdadeiramente com a pessoa que eu sou.

I have a little story to tell you, a few years ago my mother offered me the Universal wisdom oracle cards , which I loved from the heart and became a tool for me to arrange my thoughts and anxieties. I take a card with a message and I easily focus again on what is important. On several occasions, the card that appeared in my readings was the Intention card and this time I did a click and so I came up with this idea of creating this mini workbook so I and you can work in our intentions ;)

Eu tenho uma pequena história para vos contar, há uns anos atrás a minha mãe ofereceu-me um oraculo, de sabedoria Universal, que eu adorei de coração e tornou-se para mim uma ferramenta para eu arrumar os meus pensamentos e ansiedades. Eu tiro uma carta com uma mensagem e fácilmente me foco outra vez no que é importante, por várias vezes, a carta que apareceu nas minhas leituras foi a carta da intensão e desta vez eu fiz um click e assim surgiu esta ideia de eu criar este mini workbook para que eu e tu possamos trabalhar as nossas intenções ;)

Plaster Studio: Mixed-Media Techniques for Painting, Casting and Carving

The Butterfly Project...

Remember that wonderful project ... The Butterfly Project . Well then, I thought it would be a good idea to involve my children, and my daughter was delighted with the idea, so there we went to school, making butterflies!!!!! All together to send to the Holocaust Museum ... a fantastic family of butterflies carrying an immense love from these children

Lembram-se daquele projecto maravilhoso...The Butterfly Project. Pois então, pensei que seria uma óptima ideia envolver as minhas crianças, a minha filha ficou deliciada pela ideia e lá fomos nós, para a escola, fazer borboletas. Todos juntos para enviar para o Museu do Holocausto...uma familia fantástica de borboletas que leva um amor imenso destes meninos

So now you ask, How do you made this wonderful Butterflies???? ;)

E agora perguntas (e bem...) como é que fizeram estas lindas Borboletas???? ;)

We use a lot of materials that surely you can find in your home.

Such as: a transparent plastic bag, a pipe cleaner, ribbons, bits of fabric, beads, bits of colored paper and adhesive tape to close our butterfly
And now it's just fun ... fill your bag with the material you chose, bending your plastic bag in half and glue it with adhesive tape (the back) to do the body and the chopsticks of your butterfly rolled in the middle with your pipe cleaner.
If you want you can draw a picture or write a phrase : ) then tape them with a large adhesive tape to your butterfly.

Usámos um monte de materiais que com certeza encontram lá por casa.

Tais como: um saco de plástico transparente,1 limpa cachimbos,fitas, bocadinhos de tecido, contas em madeira, pedacinhos de papeis coloridos e fita cola para fechar a nossa borboleta
E agora é só diversão...enche o teu saco com os materiais que escolheste, dobra o teu saco de plástico a meio e cola-o com fita cola ( na parte de trás) para fazeres o corpo e os pauzinhos da tua borboleta enrola a meio o teu limpa cachimbos.
Se gostares podes fazer um desenho ou escrever uma frase :) e cola-os com fita cola larga á tua borboleta.
Diverte-te!!!!

This is Butterfly Lover inspired by nature and butterflies, she love the delicacy and freedom of butterflies! yes...she would love to fly...but she does, in her mind with her dreams :)

She starts with a unique draw, not a mold...she is all hand made, first with fabric, and sculped with clay. Then it´s worked like a painting in 3 dimentions, with lot´s of details with collage, acrilic paint, pastel, stamps,crackled , crayons... all this details are telling a story, her unique and special story.

I love to make dolls that celebrates life and the wonderful and precious things we have...like our Home :)

Home is a one of kind doll sculped with clay and she stands in a wood block worked with mixed media techniques.

A love story in a painting

It's always a pleasure for me to paint love, the love of two people or the love of family, are paintings that I always do with a lot of affection and dedication.

This order began to be worked directly from a small drawing on a sheet of paper, where the couple finds its position on the canvas, I got the two in one side of the screen as if they wanted to stay close to each other and with much love to give .

É sempre um prazer para mim pintar amor, o amor de duas pessoas ou de uma familia, são quadros que faço sempre com muito carinho e dedicação.

Esta encomenda começou a ser trabalhada apartir de um pequeno desenho numa folha de papel, onde o casal encontra a sua posição na tela, eu cheguei os dois a um lado da tela como se quisessem estar sempre perto um do outro e com muito amor para dar.

I drew on canvas with black pencil and add several elements of collage on paper with colors and shapes that make me remember love, warm, healthy, inner richness...

Bloom True Workshop...

This weekend I've been to "Bloom True" Workshop, with Flora Bowley, and it was realy worth it :)

I loved knowing Flora and her painting techniques, that are, at the same time, so free and revealing of our way of seeing, being and moving in this world ... truly inspirational, experimenting with no mistakes ...

definitely a wonderful way to grow and finding your own true voice .

A creative weekend...

I am so happy that Flora Bowley is coming to Portugal and I am going to participate in her Bloom True workshop...I love to learn and share with other artists. Especially because I know quite a few in person and talk with someone who understands entirelly what it is to be an artist to me is a real privilege.
